A LITTLE UTILITY, MADE FOR macOS

Quit apps.
Stay in your flow.

Hover over your Dock and click ×. Or give your mouse a middle-click. A simpler way to call it a day.

Your native Dock · Runs locally · No account

LESS FRICTION. MORE FLOW.

A little ×. A little easier.

Stay with what you were doing.

INTERACTIVE DEMO

Hover over an icon, then click the × above it

An interactive illustration. It never controls apps on your Mac.

TWO WAYS. ONE LESS INTERRUPTION.

Quitting should be this simple.

No switching windows. No digging through the right-click menu.

01 / HOVER TO QUIT

Hover. Click. Done.

Hover a running icon. When its name appears, a small × shows above that name. One click sends a normal quit.

Works with a mouse or trackpad
02 / MIDDLE-CLICK TO QUIT

One middle-click. That’s it.

More of a mouse person? Press the scroll wheel on a Dock icon. No hover delay. No switching to another window.

Requires standard middle-mouse events
ONLY WHEN IT’S SURE

If it isn’t sure, it leaves the app open.

Finder, Trash, folders, apps that aren’t running, and apps open more than once never get a ×.

  • Finder
  • Trash
  • Folders
  • Not running
  • More than one
LESS INTERRUPTION. MORE INTENTION.

One small thing, thoughtfully done.

Quits normally. Respects your work.

A normal quit request, never a force quit. If a document needs saving, its app still asks you what to do.

Your activity stays on your Mac.

No accounts, telemetry, or network requests in the app. No reading window contents or recording keystrokes.

Still the Dock you know.

Keep your native Dock. Left-click, right-click, and scrolling work as usual. Turn either quit method off independently.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
